~ No Baloney Guidelines
for Weight Loss
Rachel
Here is my story ~ I began trying to lose weight on my own in January, 2008. My "ah-ha" moment was when I got on the scale & realized that I weighed the same amount that I did when I was 9 months pregnant with my daughter! Only now, my daughter was 10 & my son was 5 & I couldn't claim "baby fat" anymore.

The biggest thing that helps me in weight loss is accountability. I had tried to "diet" before by myself, but having to cook for & eat with my family made that difficult. This time around my husband, Kelly, decided to do it with me. It was great to be able to keep each other accountable & motivate each other. We both lost quite a bit of weight, but then when we went on vacation at the beginning of the summer we slacked off a bit, so we both decided to join this group to get us motivated again & to have even more accountability.

The biggest obstacle for me has been time to exercise. I try to squeeze it in whenever I can, but it doesn't always happen.  My personal goals in this is ultimately to be healthier, but I wouldn't mind weighing less than my mom again too!  =)  (For those of you who don't know, Wendy Vandruff is my mom.) I also want to be able to get in more time for exercise as well.

God's blessings to all as we join in this together!
