I’m 5 feet, 10 inches tall. In high school I played football and in college I ran on the cross-country team. Then school ended and real life began. Marriage. Baby. You know how it goes. Before long, I was 230 pounds and I wasn’t very happy about it. None of my old clothes fit. I moved slower. I had less energy. I knew that my problem was that I didn’t control my eating or exercising habits. In fact, I guess you could say that a lot of my life was characterized by a lack of control. A friend joked that I got pregnant along with my wife.

I finally came to the place in my own life when I realized that a change was in order. I started to exercise several times a week. I drastically changed what I ate and how much I ate. It's amazing how quickly the weight and inches go on and how slowly they come off! I discovered other people in my church also had similar desires to get healthy and drop some weight. We decided to join together and to help each other with our fitness goals. Thus was born CLUB 2515, a fitness partnership designed to encourage, motivate, and help keep people on the path to health.

It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you have other people to cheer and push you on. So I continue to play, not to lose my weight any more, but to cheer others on as they pursue their own health and fitness goals.
