No Baloney Guidelines for Weight Loss

 ·        Overhauling your attitude towards food is the key. As best-selling author Michael Pollan says:

Eat real food,
    2.     
Not too much,
    3.     
Mostly plants

Decide to change your lifestyle (it takes time, just like it did to build up bad health habits)

Listen to your body – eat when you’re hungry, quit when your’re full (that may mean eating more slowly)

Think moderation, not denial
·
       
Be patient
·
       
Dropping 1-2 lbs a week is a manageable, healthy rate (that means you could healthily drop 40 pounds in our game!)

Exercise, exercise, exercise

Stay connected to a support structure

Read food labels
